about us

Donor tables drive real impact.

OREGON DONOR ALLIANCE is an emerging statewide organization (aka a “donor table”) for doers and donors to learn together, align funding, and set a winning strategy for Oregon for years to come.

Simply put, ODA is building a place where people give collectively around a strategic vision. What makes the Oregon Donor Alliance unique, is that our strategic vision will be built in partnership with leaders and practitioners who are doing the work every day. The Donor members of the Oregon Donor Alliance will have opportunities to sharpen their skills and understanding about strategic planning, the ecosystem of elections and issues, and also deepen relationships both with other likeminded donors and with community leaders throughout Oregon.

We believe that all of us—whether we’re focused on climate change, reproductive rights, racial justice, economic opportunity, or public education—can only win if we work together. You can join us in supporting the collaborations that connect us all, while catalyzing and sustaining long-term, durable change.

Donor tables accelerate change.

More than a regranting organization, OREGON DONOR ALLIANCE is an active investor that works closely with its grantees to facilitate the impactful conversations with key political partners. We are a community of donors that make high-impact philanthropic investments. We will do this by:

  • Fostering learning spaces for donors and others that translate racial equity values into everyday practices;

  • Using a community-based decision-making structure with on-the-ground practitioners to invest strategically in long-term change;

  • Nurturing a collaborative network of donors and organizational leaders grounded in shared values, in a commitment to collective impact, and in transparent collaboration;

  • Investing in long-term infrastructure and moving resources to build power for communities sidelined in our democracy.

We aren’t seeking publicity or notoriety, so you won’t hear about us on the news. But even after the elections are over, we will still be on the ground, pursuing a vision for the long term for building community power year-round.
